Narayan Bhargava
Narayan joined SDB in 2010 and is president of the company. Through his time at SDB, he has diversified the company into manufacturing and PVF. He even founded and sold an oilfield supply company in Mozambique, Africa. In addition to SDB, Narayan is very active in his community, having served on various boards including the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH), charities, his alma mater, and the Texas Workforce Commission.
He currently serves as Immediate Past President and Chairman of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors (NASPD), director for Magic Bus USA Charity (Houston Chapter), director of Inspire Institute of Sports (IIS) USA, and several leadership positions within the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
Leading an active lifestyle, Narayan’s hobbies include weightlifting, squash, and rock climbing. He also enjoys nerding out on podcasts, world history, and craft beers. In his downtime, he enjoys catching up on TV shows and spending time with his family.
Narayan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received dual degrees in Finance and the esteemed Business Honors Program (BHP) from the McCombs School of Business. Hook ‘em!
